Who we are
Find Your Flow is run by Soham Railkar, author of the book of the same name. For anything about your data, email railkarsoham@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, an optional name, and your time zone (so days start at your midnight).
- What you write: goals, tasks, where you stopped and your next steps, what you got done, any photos you attach, Weekly Resets and the practices you tick.
- Your focus blocks: when they started and ended, their length, and how the length felt.
- Flow Check answers and results. If you finish the Flow Check without an account, your answers are held for up to 7 days so the sign-in link can save them to your account, then deleted.
- Payment status: your plan and renewal date. Card and bank details go straight to the payment provider; we never see or store them.
- Usage: we may count steps such as “started the Flow Check” or “finished a focus block” to learn what helps. We don't record what you type in those events.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, show ads, or share what you write with anyone except the services below, only so the app works.
Who helps us run it
- Vercel: hosting the app and storing photos you attach.
- Neon: the database where your account and entries are stored.
- Resend: sending sign-in emails.
- Razorpay (India) and Paddle (elsewhere): taking payments for Pro.
- Anthropic: only when you tap “Start smaller”, the task you typed is sent to Anthropic's AI to suggest a smaller first step.
- PostHog: product analytics, if switched on, to count the steps described above.
- YouTube: only if you press play on the film on our homepage. Until then nothing loads from YouTube; after that, it plays from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
Cookies and your device
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. The app also saves your focus blocks and notes on your device first, so it works offline, and sends them to your account when you're back online.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your data until you delete your account. Deleting it, from Settings, removes straight away:
- your account, email address and sign-in sessions, including any unused sign-in links;
- your goals, tasks, focus blocks, notes, what you got done, photos, Weekly Resets, practice ticks and Flow Checks;
- your plan and AI usage counts;
- what the app had saved in that browser: unsynced blocks, drafts and cached pages.
An active Pro subscription is cancelled with the payment provider first, so you're never charged again. A few copies sit outside the app and expire on their own: our database provider's backups (within 7 days), and the sign-in email's delivery record at our email provider. Razorpay or Paddle keep payment records for as long as the law requires. Flow Check answers from someone who never signed in aren't linked to anyone and are deleted after 7 days.
Your choices
- Download everything as a file from Settings, at any time.
- Delete your account from Settings, at any time.
- To ask what we hold, correct something or anything else, email railkarsoham@gmail.com.

Not medical advice
The app and the Flow Check are general information about focus and habits, not medical or psychological advice. If you're struggling, please talk to a doctor or a licensed professional.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
